Utility tilt-bed trailer

Postby Danny » Sat May 21, 2011 7:43 pm

So I've got this old thing that has been sitting in my back yard for more years that anyone can imagine. Well, thinking of what we do, maybe not. Anyway, I need to unload it. It was originally set up to haul a snowmobile. It's since hauled lots of different things, from trash to jet ski's.

So it's up for sale. $200 or make me an offer I can't refuse. Wife says it has to go.....and it does.

6' x 8' bed.
mobile home axel with spare.
needs to be redecked

Danny,

What size hitch ball is that setup for? Is the wiring any good? Just pricing out building a new trailer to go behind the Jeep, and this may be a better starting point although I'm not a fan of the mobile home axle/wheel/tire program...
Yep, I've wheeled one of those, too...

When the hell did this happen?

Sorry for the hijack.
Okay, we're a little crazy to have a Duramax for a daily driver. But if we go off our meds, we might wind up in a Prius.

Lee! Did you miss the '69 C-101 part? Or did you know about that?

It's gone Toby. Sold the minute it hit craigslist, but since you asked, 2" on the ball(s) :thu: and it needed to be rewired.

Nice! I imagine I know the front bumper treatment that it is getting. Winch?

Yep. It will end up similar to the Minivan, but likely only roll on 35's rather than 37's. Still shopping for tires so it's not 100% decided, but I'm leaning more toward the side of moderation...
