Pretty sure my jeep transmission is not long for this world. Anyone have a lead of a working replacement? Not sure how much longer my trans will hold out, but if I can find a good replacement trans I can replace mine before I end up stranded somewhere. Or does anyone rebuild them?

Woops, I guess that part would be important. This is for my jeep. Truck trans is doing fine. Got it rebuilt a few years back when I sunk in a mud hole.

Well, I guess the craigslist trans I bought this summer was no good. My buddy at CBC took the pan off today and said it was full of shavings.

Back to looking for a trans and need to find one quick so I can get him to put it in before he graduates

Some guy at PAW sold my buddy the wrong trans. He sold them a pre- HO trans saying it was the right trans. Situation is fixed and the correct trans is going into my jeep. This turned into a huge PIA
