WTB TJ Flares or similar

Postby SquirrelCrusher » Sun Jul 22, 2012 11:13 am

I'm going to trim my front fenders and I think the TJ flares will look great when it is all said and done. So for now I only really need a set for the front, but a complete front/rear set would work. I can store the rears until I get around to putting them on. Interested in other flares that might work also

Let me know whats out there and what it would take to make them mine.

When I put TJ's on my YJ I ordered a "lightly" used set from Collins Brothers

For the love of gawd do NOT put TJ flares on your XJ... Trim/relocate/bumpstop!!!
Yep, I've wheeled one of those, too...

What's wrong with TJ flares?

It's just personal preference... TJ flares belong on TJ's, YJ's, Commando's, and the occasional Scrambler. They do not belong on any other CJ's, XJ's, or pretty much anything else.

Not to junk up your WTB thread, but why on earth are you wanting TJ flares with 31" tires? IF you were to run TJ flares on your Cherowagon, you would need 35's to fill up the space... My opinion only, of course... Have you got some big plans in the works?

Nope no radical plans. I plan to switch to 33s when I wear the current tires out. I've just seen a few pictures of cherokees with TJ flares and they look decent and it seems like a used set of flares won't hurt the wallet to much.
