EB Rear Bumper

Postby tobyw » Mon Oct 11, 2010 12:11 pm

Well, with the Minivan off to greener pastures and the Flattie not even under the knife yet, I needed to find a suitable wheelin rig to fill the void. Going back on my word that the EB will not be a wheeler, it's getting the nod for the time being... With that, my plans for the rear bumper changed from stock to a more trail friendly version, complete with extra fuel (as Tim knows, EB's are thirsty) and storage. A few hours in the shop this weekend got me to this point:

Still have quite a bit of finish work to take care of, but the rough mockup is complete. Once this one is ready for paint, I'll start on the front and snap some pics. I'm hoping to have it somewhat not-so-embarrasing for FYBR :?
Yep, I've wheeled one of those, too...

A guy needs a score card to keep up.

(I like the expedition bumper.)
Okay, we're a little crazy to have a Duramax for a daily driver. But if we go off our meds, we might wind up in a Prius.

That looks awesome. What happened to the minivan?

You will want a better latch for that tire swing. I did something similiar and it rattles bad! I have a strap wrapped around mine to stop the rattling.

Oh and fuel injection and a 24 gallon fuel tank helped the thirst issue
You can follow me.... but it's gonna hurt ;)
