So now I'm stuck holding the screen up with one hand while typing with the other which sucks. At least the lcd screen is fine.
Good thing I had a 3 year warranty oh wait its from Circuit City.
Yeah I'll never buy a warranty again.
So I looked at new laptops but really don't want to spend 400+ dollars...that's money that could be going into the Jeep. Called HP and they want 300 bucks. ouch. I talked to Tenikiwon (Andy) and it turns out laptop parts are not that hard to find and can be cheap on Ebay.
Cost for this new screen bezel $14.60 shipped. The hinges were another $15.00 shipped.
First thing I've done is take the old screen bezel apart and its not as hard as you'd think.
This is all I've done do far as I'm still waiting for the hinges. More to come.
