I'm so sorry I could not make the tree removal project, but here is what I was up to.
This weekend I put on a OME lift with springs, shocks, adj. track bars, sway bar disconnects, etc. to clear my DC Mud Country 33's on 15" wheels.
I'm pretty exhausted and I'll get better pics up later, but some are requesting pics
now.
With the lift on stock rubber and wheels...
Sittin' perty on 33's...
Still some work to do. The adjustable track bars need to be adjusted, the quick disconnects may or may not be set up right, and this Jeep desperately needs an alignment (and it is not just that the steering wheel is a good 1/4 turn off.)
I know many of you guys run bigger rubber, but I'm pretty excited.

Yeah, I cannot wait to drop air pressure and get into some snow.

Awesome!! You tackled that by yourself in one weekend, the steering wheel thing is a piece of cake once you get your axles centered. Well, for Tim anyway

mine was off at least 1/4 turn if not more.

Thanks guys. The rear axle is still off by an inch, it needs to be aligned and I need to extend my spare tire snubbbers a bit more, but it is getting there.

Looks good Lee! The extra clearance and bigger tires should make a big difference in the snow.

I don't know, I was pretty pleased with how it worked this weekend on 33's. I love the half top look, but I have to carry precious cargo in the back too often.

I like the way that looks.

Looks pretty slick, but I can see an issue with building or fitting decent roll protection and having it easy to get on and off. Rear tubes on a cage would have to be removable, and you'd have to poke holes in the purty new top to get 'em thru

why not make an intrior and an exterior cage? or an interior cage and a scrambler like rollbar?

It would be like a pickup top Jeepster. I've seen quite a few where the cage goes through the top and is bolted on to allow top removal. I think David's Jeepster might be like that. I know Al's (of Al's 4x4) son had one like that.
Super cool, but my Jeeper chicks would feel a little isoalated in the 'bed' of my Jeep.
