help half doors

hello there... so i was wanting to know peoples experience with Toyota half doors. i do not like the visablitly out of my window when wheeling and was wondering if someone could help me construct half doors from the doors i have.. or if anyone has advice that will also help :wink: thanks. heres a pic that im looking for.

or should i just buy tube doors and save my doors for winter

Modify the hinges so you can take the doors off by lossening a couple bolts and leave them at the trail head or at camp. :wink:

I cut the lower slot a bit shorter eventually so the top bolt lined up first and the lower just slipped right into place. No silly over priced removable pin setup or swapping to worry about.

You may want to purchase a set of doors to modify. I have both. Elk hunts and early spring runs are much better when you’re not freezing.

It seems that the doors in the picture that you posted are too open. I don't think there is any benefit to that of big of hole. The door I built seems to work about perfect. If you want, give me a call and you can swing by and check my stuff out. I will give you some advice if have a few hours and not afraid of heights :wink:

not a yota but i built a set for my 79 chev (read big and cant see anything)
the doors helped a bunch
i built them when i was 17 (no experience) and no one else is dumb enough to wheel them

IMO take them off or if you want to drive on the street make them removeable
