the bronco??? what to do?

So I tried selling it and no one wanted it so now I have to do something with it..

Im not trying ot do anything crazy just want to it to be a little bit more able. any suggestions on what direction to go?

and hay lurch is there any way to get rid of the lifter tick in a 2.8???
its driving me crazy...

They're isn't much you can do about the lifter tick short of spending some money on new lifters. Even then it's no guarantee that it won't still be there. Oh and you have to pull the heads to replace them. You could replace the engine with a 4.0 from an explorer. It's a bolt in deal other then wiring up the fuel injection.

four liter swap is at the top of my list of things to do. the 2.8 sucks and other than its fuel injected i dont think the2.9 is much better. IM still on the hunt to find some tires. I need to go through my front end there has been some strange noises comming from it after i went and played last time. I have my eye on the rough country 3" lift and some decent shocks. anyone have any experance with these lifts?

A bracket lift is a bracket lift for the most part. Where the difference is, is the spring and shock quality. If I still had a ranger/bronco I'd get a James Duff kit. Good price, good quality and local .. They got good quality shocks and springs. I think their coils are progressive rate too.

FYI James Duff hasn't been local for a couple years. They moved back east. Tenessee I believe.

I looked at the james duff lift before and ita about two hundred bucks more but i donno. I does look nice tho. and you are correct donnie the springs are progressive.

i had my eye on that build and im thinking thats more than im ever gonna want for my b2. I pretty much just want it a little bigger and some decent tires ill never do anythign crazy with it. prolly. :lol:
