brakes

Postby CopenhagenCowboy » Sat Nov 13, 2010 11:40 am

When I drive it feels like I'm fighting my brakes. Sorta like my e brake is on but its not. I'm gonna check it out today but I don't know anything about brakes. I'm gonna see if I can feel heat from them after driving down the street. Also I'm gonna check that my brake fluid isn't contaminated with water or something. But other than that I'm clueless. Any ideas?

Could be a bearing or something going out. . .or a frozen piston in a front caliper. . .lots of possibilities.

Jack it up, spin the wheels by hand and find out where the problem is and then start eliminating things.
