new engine

So the engine in my Bronco II was getting just a bit weak. Actually it was getting a lot weak. If I hit a head wind on the highway it wouldn't hold 70. Not to mention the low oil pressure, using coolant and bad knocking and rattling noises that were coming from under the hood.
So I picked up another engine from a coworker that was a fresh build about 20k ago. It has world product heads, bored 30 over and balanced. I tore it down and decided it needed new rings and bearings. Evidently he wasn't honest about how well he had taken care of it. So I honed it, put new rings and bearings. Installed a custom ground camshaft and headers. I know it's only a 2.9l but if your gonna polish a turd make it real shiny
I hope to fire it this weekend. Kinda excited to see how it will run.
