Simple Paint Job... Yeah Right!

I started out to touch up the box on the rotten truck -- it has been flaunting several types of primers for more than 8 years. A ton of man hours, 1/2 gallon of bondo, and $$ of materials later I'm almost ready to start applying primer. Misery loves company, so check out the pictures below and know that I've been neglecting my family, lawn, and dog in pursuit of something that will be ruined by a misplaced tree or rock.

It starts with a bad tallgate. Like a loose thread on your shirt.

No paint sprayed but the next project is waiting in line.

I spy parts. Good thing at that I have a son self trained in taking things apart.

During the last few weeks I've seen a lot of yellow. I'm nearly done with the paint work. I've learned a lot and $pent a lot. I hope to get my taste buds working again in the near future.

What color is that? Is it something like Dozer Yellow? as in Caterpillars and stuff?

Looks great. Can't wait to see it back together. 8)

Sun Fusion. Same stuff used on Toyota FJ. Renamed it, "Yellow Avocado Skin".
