My new wheeler is stuck...

Despite having a spooled rear end, my new wheeler got stuck today on its first run.

Looks like clearance issues to me. Nothing a lift kit and bigger tires couldn't fix or maybe just lower the setting on your mower.

If you're going to run that thing on bermuda grass, you're going to need to mow a little lower.

Newbes, always afraid to drop the air below 10psi. Drop it to 4 and you'll float right through that bog, as long as you have proper irrigation pressure.

In this particular case you may want to bump the PSI upward to about 1000 and let her rip. Remember.. when in doubt, power out.

Another possibility that I've never had to deal with is that you may have to much hose. Having to drag a long hose around can generate a lot of friction and slow you down, eventually causing a embarrassing stuck situation.

The worst thing is that you have to walk through the mud puddle to save the truck!
This kind of truck gets my 100 ft long front lawn watered. With our very low irrigation pressure it takes a whole day for wheeler to make just one pass
. Well, better slow than a crispy dry lawn.

Thanks Curtis! I dropped the pressure like you said, but then I blew a bead while doing some off camber stuff!

We just got our irrigation water going. The sprinkle tractors have not been dewinteralized yet. But in June; may be....
