I did that to my 68' bronco (the red one) several years ago and it still looks like that

It must be a Ford thing, I wouldn't understand.

Toby, while it's that far gone you need to rattle can the inside too.

Wow, thats alot of work!
When I first got my Cherokee, I surgically removed all the emissions stuff from the wiring harness. I had everything under the hood looking very similar to your pic!
If you want to do the inside without too much work, you can coat it in Kent's Rubber Guard. Spray on with a rattle can, and it will leave a semi-solid textured black thin rubber-like surface. Just clean your surface well with degreaser, sand the rust spots, and scotch-brite the rest to prep the surface.

I just finished putting the floorpans in it, and got a little carried away getting it prepped for interior paint

I have a little wiring to clean up/repair (the previous owner was an even bigger electrical hack than me, and I didn't know that was even remotely possible

), and then I'll sand the rusty areas and shoot them with a rust coverter. Then it'll get a basic coat of rattle can, and then the carpet can cover up the disaster

Looks good! Also looks like more than 3.5" of lift but I would guess the stock stuff was sagged out pretty good.

Blue Moon is not my 'suspension work' beer of choice, but nice pick.
(Am I the only one to note what is important in the pics?)

The inside will be finished/painted to match the exterior, and will have carpeting and upholstered side boards. Remember, this is NOT a wheeler so it won't get the typical treatments we are all used to in our builds
Yep, it gained a solid 6" all around, and that is due to the factory stuff being 150% shot, and the complete lack of any weight (no interior, hard top, bumpers, etc.). Right now it is probably at least 500lbs from "driving weight", and that combined with spring break-in should put me right where I need to be. I will say the Deaver springs feel nice to the bounce test
The Blue Moon was on sale, and Shannon actually likes it as well, so...

I have a top secret storage facility... And for the record, there is no key but I'll let you have it if you can figure out how to start it without popping the hood

Does that offer extend to me too? I've often thought about having a flatty to put around in...
