You gotta head above Yakima to find any trail wheeling. The only place around here is Juniper Dunes, and there's no trespassing signs out there right now.

if you worried about gas money I wouldnt be doing to much wheelin because fixin stuff adds up real fast and can turn a fun afternoon into bad months

oh and usualy any muddy place is private property or closed to 4wd's around tri-cities.........with it being not crop season you might be able to talk a farmer or two into lettin you romp around his place......but not likely

Hate to tell you this, but it's a couple hours to anywhere worth wheelin'. I think as long as that critter of yours is stock, you're limited to what you can do anyway. Try some of the smaller hills out at Hover to get the feel of it, but DO NOT go alone, even out there. Have a phone with you, and, if possible, radios to talk between rigs. As for building the rig to wheel, the guys on the two sites I see you on have enough collective knowledge to guide you thru whatever it takes...

Yea I know those guys can help me A LOT, I just need to get the money to start the build it up. Which is easy to do.

Head out past Finley a ways on the main road. There's a sign at the turnoff. I think the thing is a county park, IIRC...Also, you gonna make any meetings? We do have an age thing, so I think you need to be 18 to join. If not, we may humor you for a while

If under 18, you can't be a full member. We do have a cap, so if you're interested, step up. Meetings are first Wed. every month. Keep an eye on here for the where...

Here's a map to Hover:

http://maps.google.com/maps?q=E+Hover+Rd,+Kennewick,+WA+99337,+USA&ie=UTF8&ll=46.104244,-118.981161&spn=0.013449,0.039911&z=15&om=1

Just drive to the end of Hover Rd, at the end of the road it turns to gravel and you can go left or right. There used to be a sign there, not sure if the sign is still up. There's usually motorcycles out there or paintballers. You'll want to go right, just follow the road and it will take you to the base of the big hills. If you go out there don't try to climb up any of the big hills, just stick around the bottoms.

If you go left you can follow the tracks down to Meals road where you can cross the tracks and head down to the river. There's gravel roads all over out there.
