Dogs ... grrr

Postby Don » Thu Dec 27, 2007 2:52 pm

Jose and Sveta will appreciate this little story.

I own ... or co habitate ... with a 80lb German Shepherd "puppy" named Austin. Last night, Austin got to hang out in the house, which is a rare treat because he normally gets booted back outside for harrassing the cat. At some point in the evenings events, he managed to wolf down the cat's food ... the cat's hairball formula food.

I decided to lock Austin in his crate in the garage instead of sleeping in my room, because the last few nights he has decided to harrass me endlessly. Lately because he has been spoiled with sleeping in the house, he whines in the garage for a while. Well, last night he whined and banged around in his crate all night.

This morning, running late for work, I popped open the garage door and something didn't smell quite right. I peered in Austins crate, expecting to find he had poo'ed in the corner or something. What I found was a tail wagging, completely poo covered dog, in a crate that appeared a poo bomb went off it in. It was horrible! I have no idea how he completly covered the crate and himself top to bottom with poo. I had to do something about it, but really didn't want to. So, I popped open the crate door and tryed to run away from the morning greeting. I managed to get him out of the garage with only a couple of poo covered tail whips across the leg.

Now, I drag the crate outside and begin the process of cleaning it. I would really rather throw it away and get a new one. While I was washing the crate, Austin decided to spred his poo covered love all over my door, and slider.

So, now I'm at work and the poo covered dog is still in the back yard. I have to figure out how to clean him up outside in 20 deg weather without him freezing to death. To hell if i'm going to bring him into my brand new house to wash him in the tub.

I love my dog  ....

Too funny...only because it did not happen to me.

I had a similar thing happen with a wild long haired cat and her five kittens that I was transporting in a box. Momma turned into a $h!t sprinkler and forced me to drive eighty miles with the windows down...It was January! The receiving family was a bit taken back by their new pets.
I don't Text (at least not very well), I eat Blackberrys, and I only Twitter after sex...
