Who does it? Is one place better then the other? Who do I stay away from? How well can I expect it to hold up?

There are some people on craiglist that can do small parts usually for better prices than Custom Coat. But custom coat did my jeep bumper for $125. Just make sure you get a price quote on whatever it is you are having coated. The hood vents on my jeep and truck mud flaps were small so I figured they would be cheap. Nope they were almost $90. Wish I had known that before I dropped them off.
The jeep bumper is holding up great. A few spots have been scratched on rocks, but the coating around the scratches isn't peeling or chipping.

I've got a friend down in Mattawa that started up a powder coating company in Richland. Last time I talked to him they just got an additional oven that will let them coat some really big stuff. I plan on using them for some odds and ends but haven't gotten around to it yet.
