Poachers killed a nice elk on the South Fork ahtanum. I was talking to my dad and we think it was close to his property.

Officers confonted the five or six drunk ($h!t faced) bastards cutting up the elk. The shooter was an Advanced Hunter (likely with a cow tag). He was found hiding in a motorhome hoping not to pintched. It seems that about every other week an Advanced Hunter gets pintched for doing something really dumb. For example, cuttinga hole in the elk fence, setting up a tree stand next to the hole, and having a few buddies on quads chase elk off of the private ground back through the hole. How hard is it to shoot a late season cow with a modern rifle?
(Adavance hunters are folks that have gone through the hoops to proved they are safe and ethical hunters; therefore, qualify for special tags).
I have officially stepped off of my soapbox....
