went into my first fire(for training)

this last thursday i got to go into the fire tower as it was on fire,it ranged from 2-600deg and about 900 or so at the ceiling.
it was hot enough to start to burn my knees through my PPE.
I hvae had my face in books for over 2 weeks straight studying,i had a great recpect for fire fighters before but now it is X 10.
my crew is kicking a$$ over most others, i have done all the crawl tubes
and some other stuff.
i passed mr first test putting on my PPE(personal proteceive equpment)
by putting it on in less than 60 sec. and i have my SCBA down to under 60 sec. also,i did my PPE in 40sec and my SCBA in 59sec.
i think my brain is just about to over load

i got my SCBAs down to 52sec tonight and beat my LT.
3 of us went in for extra practice when we didnt have to(holiday)
i think we earned some browny points
