My buddy Drew (zmbeklr), Myself and our wives are planning on spending about 2 weeks from about August 25 thru September 6 wheeling in the Washington/Oregon/Idaho/West Montana area. What are the “must doâ€

Dan, the Oregon Dunes should be on any list of places to see/wheel. I will qualify that by saying it's where I grew up and learned to wheel. I will caution you that sand can be a horsepower show at times. It's not the same kind of sand you find down your way at all. Very fine and soft...For more info, look up Save The Riders Dunes. They're the group working to stop closures, and are a great bunch.

Around here. I'd say a must do would be Rimrock and Naches. Lots of info and pix on here of both.

In Oregon, Quack Attack is one for sure. Info there can be found on the Deschutes County 4 Wheelers website and FB page. Poverty Flats over by Baker City would be good too if you're going to be close.

Thanks Grumpy. Quack Attack defiantly looks like an Iconic place. I just hope Drew can keep his foot out of the gas pedal. That looks like a recipe for broken axles

Sounds like the sand at Oregon Dunes is allot like the sand down south of here. Buttercup is pretty fine and powdery stuff. Drew's new motor should shine there....... Until he breaks something

I'd say run up I-5 and then follow 12/410 over.
