Parting out 87' ford ranger

Postby Lurch » Wed Aug 11, 2010 6:30 am

Just like it says I'm parting out an 87 ranger. I am pulling the engine for my b2 and keeping the tranny for a spare but the rest must go.

It has 4.11 gears front and rear, tight lsd rear (7.5) lockrite in the front end. tail gate is straight. lot's of other odds and ends. Body panels aren't perfect but great for a wheeler.

It has a set of nice black wheels with 31" tires with decent tread. Bolt pattern is 5x4.5 Would like $300 for rims and tires. Everything else is make offer. Once all the good stuff is gone I'm gonna cut it up for scrap so don't wait to long.
You can follow me.... but it's gonna hurt ;)

I'll let my brother know on the tires and wheels... he's looking for some for his Cherokee, but he is a little wedding poor right now.
Okay, we're a little crazy to have a Duramax for a daily driver. But if we go off our meds, we might wind up in a Prius.

What kind of mirrors are on the doors? Are they the cheap plastic ones, or the decent A-frame jobbies that some Rangers and the F-series of that era typcially ran?
Yep, I've wheeled one of those, too...

Yep, my Brother is too wedding poor right now for the tires and wheels. If you still have them in a month or so he might give you a call.

I guess he convinced his bride that buying these was saving money. :thu: Well, that is a good start for him (them.) Now that he has them on he needs to work on making them fit.
