It is a remarkably versatile set of tools. Also effective at curing appendicitis and getting a better deal on donuts at the local grocery store.

Now, one of my doctors wants to wean me off of oxygen. Is that something we are supposed to be weaned off of?

And she has diagnosed me with Racer's Foot. (Unrelated to the pneumonia, just a partial paralysis of the accelerator foot. I can still push, I just
can't lift.) Tried to explain it to Grumpy, but I guess it is unheard of in Scout drivers. Crispy might want to look into it, he does show some of the symptoms.
Okay, we're a little crazy to have a Duramax for a daily driver. But if we go off our meds, we might wind up in a Prius.

Yeah, not a Scout thing. More versatility involved there

Racer's foot: A condition found in some Jeep drivers who use their Jeeps for something other than going to the mall. This is caused by the need to hold the throttle down for extended periods of time in order to keep moving, thereby causing certain muscles to atrophy by not being used to lift the foot from the throttle. This is not seen in some other drivers, such as Scout and Bronco drivers, due to their use of all leg and foot muscles to adjust pressure on the throttle as these vehicles tend to have sufficient power and don't require use of full throttle at all times.

I doubt it.
Never seen a Scout driver with anything but "broken toe" from kicking their glorified tractor when it breaks down on its way to the field.

Even if they did run, the power to weight ratio isn't even in the ballpark when similarly equipped for the hills (30%+ more stock curb weight with only 15% more power)

Bronco? Now we're talkin' cool factor. 8)

My understanding is Racer's Foot doesn't afflict Scout driver's, because pushing the skinny pedal in a Scout yields no satisfying results, resulting in boredom before any damage can be done to the foot. (In most cases the damage to the brain has already taken place.)

I'm not following this conversation at all.

I thought this was a Scout throttle...

Now I have more tests and more tests for racer's foot and an appointment with a neurologist. (No it is not a brain thing.) Missing Camp Schamp sucks the most.

Turns out, my Racer foot is probably caused by crossing my legs, not my high-speed spirited jaunts across the dunes. (Okay no one was accusing me of high-speed.) Just too many days of sitting in the hospital and then sitting at home while I was sucking on the O2 hose. Another visit to the specialist to wire me up like a 'puter and then PT. So if you catch me crossing my legs, smack me [gently] on the back of the head.

Get a vasectomy... that will give you about a month of not crossing your legs.
I don't Text (at least not very well), I eat Blackberrys, and I only Twitter after sex...

You have no idea the physical toll that three vasectomies have on a person!

Well my career as a spy is over before it even began. Today the Doc wired up my leg and then used a two prong probe to give me a gentle shock. And I talked. I told them the troop movements, where the gold is buried, I may have even promised to trade the LJ in on a JKU. That is before he stuck the needle in, touching a nerve, and told me I would feel a pulse. A pulse? I swear I smelt the hair on my leg burning.

Now two months of physical therapy twice a week. So much for my Racer's Foot.

Any recommendations for Physical Therapists?

Phil Drussell is an old friend. He runs Summit Physical Therapy.
Premix now sends drivers there to carry weights around, climb ladders, and pull on stuff.
He is in Kennewick across from Ranch n Home.

Also a nurse friend Barb works with. Her husband is a PT. I think his office is still in Richland. I can get you that info tomorrow if you want.

Neither of these people would even think of trading an LJ for a JKU.

I absolutely do NOT condone chemical treatments to your body (pain killers, etc), and have found this natural stuff to work wonders with my sciatic nerve problem:

Not saying it will work for you, but I know several others it has worked for besides myself.

Damnit, you were a for moment well fixed and in your right mind... 8)

But I guess if they can't keep you there, you should prolly stay with the LJ...
