The current state government will not be able to make everyone happy. They're too broke for that. I'm sure some good programs will be cut as well as the wasteful ones. Hopefully they don't raid more NOVA funds.

Far as I'm concerned these people were elected to do a job and like it or not they need to balance the budget and contain costs.

Obviously I have more than a little concern over what will happen to NOVA, but this consolidation of agencies could be a war as well. What I see there is a whole bunch of fueding over control of the new agency formed. If Parks, Wildlife, and Natural Resources are rolled up together, I'm sure the existing management will all think they should be the leads, and a power struggle could occur. The legislation that enables this is going to have to be pretty tight to keep things in line! Could be an interesting session...
