I have learned, "Congratulations" are in order, Jim Putman (Hombre - Region 2) has been appointed to the Nonhighway and Off-Road Vehicle Activities program (NOVA) as one of the motorized representatives (4x4).
As part of a fifteen member committee, they advise the Recreation and Conservation Office's (RCO) director and funding board on the ranked grant requests for motorized - nonmotorized and nonhighway projects - along with education and enforcement (E&E) programs that are related to NOVA activities; also when needed, they are called upon to provide assistance to the RCO director on policies, procedures, statewide planning and legislative issues.
Congratulations again Jim, you have your work cut for you now.
