Letter sent via e-mail to our U.S. Senators, Patty Murray and Maria Cantwell:
I am writing to ask that you see what you can do to help Doc Hastings' H.R.523 get to the Senate floor this year. The issue of access to the Juniper Dunes area in Franklin County is of great concern to the local ORV and other user groups. We are not happy with having to cross private property to get to public lands. This is the only BLM area in Washington where this is the case, and this needs to be rectified. Please support this proposal, and help see that BLM takes care of something that should have been done years ago!

Spent some time this morning on the BLM/Spokane web site. Pathetic!. Absolutely nothing about anything they may have going on anywhere, including activities dictated by law!! I know these guys say they have budget issues, and that's really too bad, but they don't seem to get it. It is, in my opinion, their job to keep us informed, and it doesn't look to me to be happening. If you have time, I'd like some of you to take a look and see what you think.
