With some sort of living arrangement on the property. Looking to buy something that meets these specs. Anyone know of anything?

I checked on the one I knew of. But it already sold. Single wide with a shop on an acre I think. It went quick.

That neighborhood is in a strangle location. It's surrounded by industrial. I grew up in Kennewick, but I've never have been to that area. You might want to check out the Benton County Assesor website and see how often the houses around there sell and what their assessed value is. Benton County assesses homes at a pretty high rate. I don't think I would raise kids in that area because of the type of area and schools. Lastly, you may want to figure out how many of the near by homes are rentals..... low income rentals and can't pass codes to sale rentals.
I don't Text (at least not very well), I eat Blackberrys, and I only Twitter after sex...

There was a manufactured home out in badger canyon with a smaller shop/garage for $169k iirc back when i was looking in augus before i bought mine.I loved the location just didnt fall in love with the home. I know the price had dropped once or twice on it, iirc it was at $160k last time i looked.
There was quite a few that we liked out in finley also until we saw the neighborhood. It can be pretty hit or miss out there in some places.
I suggest going on craigslist real estate for the tricities and type in "shop" as your search. That was my daily search when we were looking...thank god that whole ordeal is over with! Lol
There was alot out in benton city for noticeably cheaper than kennewick if your alright with the commute.
I wouldnt recomend the area remotely around clover island, businesses have been getting broken into left and right down there the last month or so.
I agree with roman, older houses were built alot better. They didnt have to meet the stupid low budgets and cut corners to meet them like they do with the later model homes. Itll be interesting to see how long these new model homes last vs the older ones. Now on the negative side chances are there will be some maintence to be done on the older homes, i know the one i just moved into built in 1966 has a few things i need to tackle eventaully.
