Lifted YJ brake line, locally

Ok, so online parts stores brought the suck for last minute needs...

JambaJeep noticed my braided stainless driver front brake line was "losing" some fluid. Explains the puddles I've been finding


Anyone have a spare they can part with? My "rush" delivery won't be here till some time week after next!

Oh yeah, was thinking Baxter's will have stuff on the shelf to "make" a line, but had to work late tonight so didn't make it there...

You can take one off of the two door XJ in the driveway. Just have to give it back when yours comes. They are the ones that come with the RE superflex lift so I'm sure they are long enough.

IIRC, when I did the SOA on my YJ years ago, there was a NAPA hose for something like a 70's 1/2-ton Chevy that had the proper end fittings and was like 6" longer than stock... Googles would probably know...

For the record, this is EXACTLY why I'm a fan of stock/factory parts, even if they aren't for the original application...

I run 3-AN stainless braided brake lines from speedway. The lines are CHEAP to buy, the fittings are where the money is but you buy them once. I also bought reusable fittings with the last order a year or so ago so if an end gets pulled I can fix it easily on the spot.

-3 is where I went first, but didn't want to wait on shipping. Quadrajunk was supposed to get it here in time, but that didn't work out.

Have the 90's Chevy line in hand now, hopefuly can get it installed in time. Chasing an internal plumbing leak in the Motor Home right now
