TJ rear driveshaft help/questions

Did you have to shorten your stock driveshaft to compensate for the larger d44?

Just hold off puting the axle in till you can do it right.

If you decide to do this, I have a one of those Chevy drive shafts laying in my garage that needs to go. The double-cardan joint is fresh and the shaft is in great condition.

You are welcome to at least come and take some measurements off it to get some ideas.

I did not have to shorten the driveshaft but it was a tight fit. The driveshaft for your auto is actually shorter and will fit even better.
